Stu - I don't care for his voice and delivery! I like her voice and I like the musicality! I can only muster a 6/10 sorry.

Paul - I chose this after hearing their recent single Six Hills. The album is nothing like that but is intriguing. I enjoy its Velvet Underground feel in places and while I would like a bit more female vocal the man’s voice has a soothing storytelling quality about it. Good record, would listen to more by them. ☆

Ben - I really liked it. I like his voice and his accent, and the way he moves from talking into talk/sing and when he does it. I think they have a great ear for melodies, the album is chock full of them - they are simple and enjoyable. This contrasts nicely with the simple, repetitive (in a good way) background instrumentation. It’s stripped back and so quiet that you can almost hear the ripples across the drumskin a la native Indians. I love that it’s so short too, perhaps more artists could learn that ‘less is more’. Overall a big thumbs up and a keeper for me.
